My boyfriend borrowed some CDs on my library card a couple months ago. COVID hit and I forgot to return them and on the day that I went to return them the library was closed because of COVID. Then my boyfriend and I got in an argument and I wasn’t able to pick up the CDs because he kept saying I couldn’t get them. I ended up just returning them a week and a half ago. Today I got a letter in the mail stating that I owed the library $250 for lost items. I logged into my account and luckily all of the charges were removed except one for $25. I was texting my boyfriend about it and he said “why are you so worried about library charge, there’s more important things to be worrying about, I owe $60 to the library that I never paid back, we just won’t go again,” then he said I need to be focused on paying off my credit card instead and that he’s ‘just trying to be real with me,’ and said it’s ridiculous that I’m worried about this. Does it seem like he’s mad at me?
