How long until you got engaged?

I'm just curious! Been with my boyfriend for 2 years in Sept and everyone keeps asking him. We have discussed and said sometime around the 3 year mark perhaps, but I'm in no rush 🤷‍♀️

We started dating in high school so I wanted to hold off until we were finished college. 2009 started dating, engaged 2012, married 2013.
I know it’s annoying when people ask all the time, but when they asked me I just said we’re happy and I think we will get there 🤷🏻‍♀️ it will happen in your own time when you guys are ready ♥️
They will Always keep asking questions down the list. When you two getting engaged? Well when’s the wedding, how’s the wedding planning coming? When are those kids on the way 🙄🙄

Been with my SO 7 years and we aren’t and have no plans to. I’ve never really wanted to get married so it works for me. I have been engaged twice before though. Once at 18 after being together 3 years and once after 5 months when I was 22

We got engaged 3 days after our 6 year anniversary. We’ve now been married 5 months together almost 9 years. We’re very happy! 
Don’t let anyone else but expectations or a timeline on your relationship. When you’re both ready you are ready. Pressure and ultimatums can ruin a relationship in my opinion.

I met my husband while we were both in college. We were together for 9 years before he proposed. I had “friends” tell me he’s never going to marry me and I need to give him an ultimatum because that’s what they did. I don’t believe in that. I want someone who wants to marry me because they want to, not because they are afraid to lose me. We are now married and expecting our first child.

Met my husband in October, engaged in February, married in June when I was 19, he was 21.  We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary this year!

My parents got an engaged after a week of knowing each other then got married a year after.

Got engaged after 6 months, married After 9, and just celebrated our two year wedding anniversary! Marriage does not define a relationship though! My husband was military and it just made the most sense for us to be married and me move 6 hours away from my home town to live with him! If it wasn't for that I'm sure we would have waited a bit longer
