I have 4 children and my partner has decided we should go our separate ways. I own a cafe but we are small and I can’t afford to run a home by myself.

I recently done a midwifery course to help me get into university (I’m from uk) problem is uni is a 3-4 year course. I don’t know how I will be able to go to university with my 4 children, it will be very difficult and I will have hardly any money, but I’ve always wanted to be a midwife.

Second option is a Self employed nail technician, i have a creative mind and love doing my own nails, I do d it so relaxing, I could do a short course to become qualified, and I could fit appointments around my children and by other business, plus if my now ex holds up his end of the deal I’d have 2 full days a week when he takes the kids. I could potentially earn a bit from this as where I am in the UK nails typically cost £25 - £35 per client, a midwife earns £28,000 before tax.

What should I do? 😭
