Is a baby swing like this really needed?

I don't think you need a swing specifically. My hubby bought a swing, because he tought it is cooler. 😂 But for me, the fact that I have a place to put baby in temporarily is truly important. Like when I am cooking or something. So swing or no swing functuon, that sort of stool/lounger whatever tou call it, is kind of a life saver.

A must for me because I have a 13 month old and a newborn. It came in handy when my first was a newborn though.

Sometimes the only way i can set my daughter down is in her swing. She hates bouncer. To me it’s worth at least having as option just hard bc you never know what your baby is going to like

Totally depends on the baby. Both my girls hated the swing. They would last maybe 2 mins in it and start crying. So in my opinion definitely not needed.

My son didn’t like his. He has always hated sitting still and being strapped down to something, even in a swing.
