Birthdays?

So we finally decided an okay to throw our daughter a birthday party since she is our only child. Also it would only be close family. But I cannot decided how much to spend on decorations, on food? What type of food are you guys planning to have? How long should this be? Also I have little cousins ages 10 and under should I get a jumping house? My family always has them at birthday parties. Any advice is welcome. Thanks in advance😊

Our theme is Peterpan Never Grow Up. Im budgeting $200-$300. I know that sounds like a lot but that includes EVERYTHING all decor, party favors, birthday outfit, smash cake, and food. Because its not a popular theme I have to make a lot of the stuff myself. Im allowing myself to spend the money because I'm not a party person so other then this birthday we don't plan on throwing any "parties" in the future. It'll just be family and im not sure if we will just do burgers and dogs or if my grandpa will be doing a big BBQ. He wants to but that means more $$$.

Well I come from a big family and we like to throw parties. My little man is our only boy and it took us 3.5yrs to get him. Still not sure if we can have more. So we are definitely going to celebrate his 1st bday and go all out. Im already over 1,500+ and we still have a lot more to do. So at the end of it all it’s up to you and how much you can afford and want to spend. Ours will probably be 3-4hrs.

We are gonna have a party at our house with some friends. Maybe 15-20 people. Between booze, decorations, entertainment and food, it’ll probably cost $750-$1k I’d guess but I don’t have a specific budget. Even if we just have a basic bbq at our house we usually spend $300-$500ish. But I don’t feel any need or desire to go over the top for a first birthday. Will make it cute and nice. Gonna have the local kids tunes guy come and sing.

We’re aiming for under $100. We don’t plan on having a lot of people over. It’ll probably be our parents and that’s it. My dads making the cake, but we (ok me) want a lot of decorations 😂 and then just probably a few snack type foods. Nothing crazy. Maybe zoom the family that can’t or won’t attend in person.
