Doc band??

My son is about 9 1/2 months old. At birth I noticed his head was a bit flatter on the left and the right was more rounded maybe a little too much. I’ve been told by his old pediatrician that it would be fine and that I didn’t need to get a helmet for him. I have an appointment to see a new pediatrician since we moved. I have kept an eye on his head and though it’s changed a little bit it still isn’t symmetrical. My husband is against the helmet but I don’t want to waste time and would like to correct it before it’s too late. I made the appointment and they recommend he wear it for 3-4 months. What would you ladies do? Any experience with the doc band?
