What’s going on?

A week before my period was supposed to start, I got some brown spotting throughout the day. By afternoon it had turned pink and by evening it was red and got slightly heavier. The next 2 days I was having a full on period with my only “symptom” being cramps. Then the next morning I had completely stopped bleeding, until the afternoon when I started having light pink spotting and random spurts of a small patch of period like bleed that only fills up a small portion of a panty liner off and on. My start date for when my period was “supposed to start” is tomorrow. Has anyone ever experienced anything like this?
