Would you break up with someone if

Your boyfriend of five years is pretending that you never told him you wanted kids. He has told you that he wants to be ’selfish’ with his life and figure out what makes him happy. Whether that lead to money or being homeless. He said he will never provide for you financially even if we had kids in the future.

I have always been open about my want for kids and I dont really want to be the main breadwinner when I have children. I had no idea he never cared about savings, having a home later on, or having children.

I am totally fine with him having wants and desires in life and I dont want to get in the way of his expectations for life with mine. :/

I feel like we kinda dont want the same things in the long run.

Anyway I do love him, I just feel like my expectations are pretty normal and he said they aren’t. Let me know, if I’m right or am being crazy
