Stress of new baby and two kids at home....

Anybody else struggling with the thought of bringing a new baby into their home with two other kids at home?

This is my second baby, due October. I have a 2.5 year old daughter and a 6 year old step son. My step son was supposed to be going into 1st grade this year but with Covid will be doing school completely virtual. This means he will be at home with me 1-2 days a week. My 2.5 year old will also be at home with us, mind you as much as these two love each other they fight like crazy and it is always absolute chaos when they are together. I may have been extremely naive, but when we planned for this second baby I assumed my step son would be in school all day and that potentially my daughter would attend daycare a couple of days a week to give me the freedom of caring for a newborn.

I know bringing a second baby into the world is nothing like the first especially when the first one is still so young. But the stress of the two older kids PLUS taking care of a newborn is seriously freaking me out. Not to mention my husband does close to nothing around the home so I will still be in charge of meals, laundry, cleaning, etc. and now add first grade teacher to the list. Covid has brought on challenges for so many people in so many ways so I’m trying to just roll with it, but today I had a panic attack and couldn’t stop crying. Someone give me some encouragement or at least tell me I’m not alone!😥
