Making hair styling more enjoyable

Any other littles HATE having their hair done? My daughter absolutely hates having her hair put into ponytails. It's such a fight but as soon as I'm done shes fine. She doesnt try to pull them out or anything. I've tried singing letting her look at herself in the camera on my phone. But each time it's a meltdown.

I'd just leave it alone but she looks so damn cute
