Hello! I had an ectopic pregnancy last year, with a failed dose of methotrexate, and left tube removal. My husband and I wanted to start trying again in March for baby number 2, well, covid happened. So we decided to hold off. I had my annual in June, and in talks with my OB we decided that we would start trying again in august (I wanted to be on prenatals for a cycle before we started trying) it took us about 3 months to get pregnant with our son (not tracking) and about 2 with the last pregnancy (tracked) so I figured it would be a few cycles this time as well.. to my surprise we conceived right away! I finally got a clear positive this past Sunday, and a digital on Monday. I had conveniently scheduled an appointment like a month ago to get established with a new OB (mine left) for Monday. Didn’t think I would be pregnant for it lol So because of my history of ectopic she had me start my hcg tests and they were 39.03 on Monday and yesterday’s was 144.23, I’m roughly about to be 5 weeks. So super early... My numbers look good, and my progesterone was perfect. I’ve been having sore breasts, cramping, and nausea has started to show up. But I’m having the WORST possible anxiety to the point I have no sort of excitement at all.. and that makes me feel super guilty and depressed😔 my ectopic last year was so traumatic..and all I’m worrying about is “ omg is it happening again?!” “ I had similar cramps and symptoms like this last year” I knew I would be stressed, but I truly didn’t think it would affect me like this. I’ll be able to get a viability ultrasound at around 6 weeks, and I truly think that will be the only thing that’s going to help. Just wondering if any of you have had an ectopic, and if you had a pregnancy after how you felt?
