Anyone take femara for issues with follicle not bursting

So I did clomid 50mg last month as my hormones were basically non existent from lab works. Cycle day 28 follicle had been growing but never released egg. So she is hoping I respond better to femara, said increasing the clomid would result in multiples if they were to release the eggs. Just wondering of anyone has had this issue and if you were able to conceive etc..
