VA Loan

Anyone have advice for the VA loan process? We will be buying my dads house so I'm not worried at all about how long the process takes, we aren't going to lose the house. My husband is not active duty anymore if that makes a difference. Wont be doing a down payment.

However, this house was build in the 1960s so there is some flooring that likely has asbestos in the glue so we will be laying new floor on top of it instead of taking the old flooring out, has sheds that are wood to ground (have been told that can disqualify a house). What are some things to watch out for that can disqualify a house? That's my main concern. Any other tips are appreciated!
