I had a very traumatic birth experience. Planned C Section with an unplanned myomectomy and hemorrhage. I’m now 4 weeks postpartum with significant abdominal swelling which they’re not entirely sure why my body is holding onto excess fluid in the tissues other than body’s reaction to the trauma it’s gone through. I’m freaked out that I’m going to stay stuck like this!!! I literally look 6-7 months pregnant & can only fit into maternity clothes. I keep seeing posts of all these other women snapping right back & I feel ugly and disgusting. Anyone been through this?
