Cervical stitch

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to hear anyone’s experience with the cervical stitch. I have previously had a miscarriage at 19 weeks in 2017 and another at 16 weeks just in April this year due to incompetent cervix. I am 12 weeks pregnant tomorrow and in exactly a week will be having my cervix stitched, my OB has also said that I will be on progesterone after having the stitch done. I would love to hear your experiences and how it went and at what point in pregnancy you had it done?
