Toddler has no socialization because of COVID

Before the pandemic we attended playgroups and went to the library and parks and met with my friends’ kids for play dates...

Since March, we haven’t seen anyone and spend most days at home or outside.

I really feel like my son is being impacted by the lack of socializing. He’s an only child and we don’t have any family members his age.

Anyone else feeling the same? Parks and some places are starting to open up here, but he’s under 2 and can’t wear a mask yet (or leave one on if he could) and I feel guilty taking him in public uncovered while wearing a mask myself. He’s also putting his hands in his mouth constantly.

This sucks 😣 I feel bad for him, he has no one to play with. Any advice?
