Should I inform his mom on the messages I’ve received from him?

A guy I knew from school texted me a few weeks ago asking to be friends with benefits and inappropriate stuff. I said no. I’m 17 and not ready.

My friend texted me today saying he asked the same thing to her, so I texted him and asked if he asked us both to be fwb. Of course he denied it the whole time.

He was acting confused like it wasn’t him. Then he said he was hacked.

I asked a friend of his if he was hacked and he said yeah but who knows if he’s covering up for him.

Should I call his mom to inform her on the messages I’ve been receiving? I’m not 100% sure if he was really hacked but the things he said only he and I knew. It was also on his Instagram account
