I don’t know if it’s ok to ask this question here but I really need some of your experience with this issue. Basically my ex husband wants to take our daughter out of the country for a “month” and I’m totally opposing because that country is in a civil war and every bad thing you can imagine goes around there. It’s never safe. I don’t care if he’s taking her for a month it’s still not safe for my child to go especially without me. Is parents and family keep saying they want to see and meet her but they never ever care to even send her a text to say hi ( they all have her phone number). By law we both share custody of my child. But I’m not sure how it works with him taking her without a written consent or signature from me in Michigan. Her passport is expired too. Can he renew it without my consent?
