Omnitorpe?

Question

Has anyone taken Omnitorpe or something similar during their stimming phase? We are going to add it in this cycle for the first 5 days and I know it’s not covered under insurance so I was curious how much you ladies paid for it. Thank you!

It’s expensive and never covered but it was worth it for me. I took it for 3 full months actually because our situation was pretty bad 🤣. And I’m laughing now at how bad it was but I was crying then. It really helped my embryo quality

Yes, Im on it this cycle... it’s a growth hormone and I have been on it for 9 days, tomorrows my last day.  I had 5 eggs last cycle, they stopped growing at day 5.  I’ll let you know in 1 week whether the HGH worked.. supposedly it’s supposed to help with egg quality.  I had to pay for it out of pocket, was $800 for 1 weeks worth.

Hi Emily! I tried it and it gave me more eggs. I did even up getting pregnant that cycle but ended in early miscarriage. I hope this medication works for you and gives you a sticky bean! Baby dust 🎊

Hey Emily! I’m on it for the first time in four cycles. I’m hoping it helps, but I’ll definitely keep you updated. I paid $325/vial through Integrity Pharmacy out of AZ. My dosage is 50 mL per day, which ends up being half a vial. I had to order 5 vials for 10 days of stims. I meant to ask today if I just stop taking it after 10 days or if I have to order another vial if I stim longer than 10 days. 
You can get a discount card from their website that gives you one free vial a month, but you have to fudge the truth about why you need it. I have always been a goody-two-shoes and couldn’t bring myself to sign up for the card 🤦🏼‍♀️

Im on it right now. My protocol I started it 2 weeks before stims and take until trigger (so ill be on it for about a month total), its a smaller dose only 1iu per day (7 units) . hopefully it makes a difference for us. I will know more next week my retrieval i think will be monday 🤞🏻 . Mine wasnt covered 2 vials will get us through i think it was around $750 . worth it if it gets us blasts this round.
