How many dog is too many?

Question

I just got my second dog about a week ago. He is 8 weeks old. He is a beagle, and will only get to be 30 lbs. I also have a 4 1/2 year old golden retriever.  I just saw from the vet/breeder I got my golden from, is that they will be having puppies from his dad in the next couple months. So I'm thinking about adding to the crew. Does anyone have more than 2 dogs? What's it like? We live in the country, wireless fence, and I'm a stay at home mom.

We have 6 dogs, 5 pits and a German Shepherd. Plus 2 boys under 3 😂 
At one time, we had 8 dogs ... and we foster on occasion. 
There’s never too many dogs, as long as you can afford to properly care for them

We have 4 dogs. Sounds like you have plenty of time and room for them. We have 2 90 pound German shepberds and 2 shih tzus with a 1 year old and a baby on the way.

😂 for me I could never have too many dogs. We have 2 large breed and 1 medium sized dogs, we live on 15 acres out of city limits. I would love more, but we also have 2 cats, a pony and 6 alpacas, 2 young kiddos (1 who is autistic), plus I work full time (hubby works from home) sooo our plate is a little full right now.

Growing up I had SEVEN dogs 😂🤣 they were little Bichon/Maltese dogs but still! Seven of the little stinkers running around! 😄 there isn’t such thing as too many dogs, if you can take care of them properly!

I’m a sahm and we have 3 medium dogs (35lbs-55lbs). We have .28 acres so they have plenty of room! I say go for it as long as you can afford it and have the space!

I think more then 2 (not including any potential litters) is crazy, but I have other pets too (2 bengal cats and a rescue cat)

It all depends on how many dogs you can afford. If there’s an vet emergency can you afford it? Can you afford basic vet care?
No amount of dogs is too many if you can afford it.

I would say to the point where you can’t afford to take care of them. (Financially and emotionally)
