Question ladies

If your significant other likes certain things done before they get home and u been home all day/ or home before them.....

Would you make sure u got that stuff done before they walked in the house?

Or would you say fuck it and not worry about it?

Asking becauseeeeee:

Sometimes I feel like I have to do everything! I’ll come in and toys will be all on the floor, so I pick them up do dishes, make dinner, wash bottles all while SO is sitting on the couch. So we just talked about this and he gets upset saying he don’t like being on anyone else’s time and that he was gonna pick them up but when he felt like picking them up. So when I started picking them up he responds “no I’ll get those”

But at this point in my head I’m like fuck it I’ll just get it. Because if u were really going to get them then u would have gotten them before I got home knowing I’m going to come home and pick up the mess.

Am I wrong????
