When can babies go in a pool?

I live in florida. just wondering when I can start to take my baby in the pool?

We just went in the pool today 😆 11 weeks and 3years 🥰

I brought my girl in at 5 wks she hated it and then my husband carried her in and only her feet were in and she was good.  Now she has actually gone in and she’s much better.

I live in Southern California. All my kids have been in the water since tiny babes. Just make sure to shower them after to get the chlorine off :)

My doctor said it was fine at two weeks but that the water would probably be too cold and she’d hate it. Biggest thing is to keep an eye on how warm they are. They get cold way faster than we do, so don’t assume that if you’re warm baby is too. 
But the chlorine is fine.

I think it depends on the temperature of the water. I plan on starting my daughter in swimming lessons at 6 months. Our community pool isn’t opening this summer bc of covid. I want to buy her a baby pool for yard.
