Foods to avoid when trying to conceive
Hello my lovely Mumma’s and Mumma’s to be and Mumma’s who want to be a Mumma.
My partner and I are trying for our first baby, it’s month two of trying but first month I had stopped my contraception so wasn’t expecting much first go.
I have done a bit of research about foods to try and avoid when trying to get pregnant and food to help fertility.
For example I have cut down my coffee to one cup in the morning. Trying to avoid deli meats, soft cheese and alcohol (even though I read alcohol is fine up until you find out you’re pregnant) and trying to avoid high fat food but look a burger every now and again I can’t give up.
I started a prenatal vitamins about 3 months ago and increased my greens, low mercury fish and veggies/ fruits.
Disclaimer: not trying to offend anyone or know what I’m talking about I just wanted some general advice on if people did this kind of thing and got pregnant.
