“Damn girls”

Ok... let me start off by saying I’m 34 weeks pregnant. I’m a stay at home mom, my boyfriend works in the morning and then works in the afternoon. We have a really nice relationship, we’ve lived together for 3 years now. I’m 19, he’s 23 in a few weeks.

Today he called me to tell me some things about some tables and chairs we will be renting for tomorrow baby shower... I don’t know if he didn’t realize he didn’t mute myself... but I heard him say “damn girls”.

Umm... I was low key shook. I asked “what? What did you say?”

He tried to play it off saying he’s busy and all that stuff. I kept insisting on making him tell me what he said... he kept quiet and hung up on me.

I called back, and I insisted him to tell me what he had said. In so much insisting, he said “I said what you heard.”

I hung up.

He hasn’t texted me... I haven’t texted... I’ve honestly been so upset. I feel so disrespected...

I’m carrying our baby girl and I obviously don’t look like other girls all skinny and able to wear cute clothes... and the fact that he denied it first and then told me that... I don’t know...

Am I overreacting? I literally stay home all day and night, he works, I don’t even have friends. I don’t even go out.

What do I do😪 should I confront him at night? Should I stay quiet?.... please help me😪
