Ear infection?!

I was recently (Wednesday) diagnosed with an ear infection I have never had one before. At least not that I can remember. So im looking for anyone that may have some personal experience with them. This will be my 4th day taking antibiotics and using prescribed ear drops but my ear doesn’t seem to be getting any better! Is this normal? I’m only on a 5 day antibiotic treatment so come Monday if it’s still not any better I’ll go back to the doctor. Its just super painful and being pregnant there’s not a lot I can do for the pain... any advice would be super helpful

Also not sure if this is something I should bring up to my baby doctor or not. I was seen my my regular family doctor for it but I see my baby doctor Monday so if it’s not any better by then should I bring it up to her??
