Too soon?

So my son's great grandmother had covid and also tested positive for it. She got pretty sick but she says she feels better today. She called and told my father in law that (her son). It's been 3 weeks since she tested positive for it and she has been really sick up until like 3-4 days ago including today. She asked my father in law if she could come see my 3 year old. Do you think it has been long enough that she wouldn't be able to spread it? Im just not too sure myself. I mean I could honestly wait another week. I asked my FIL if she had anymore symptoms and he said "her allergies" and I was like "is she still coughing or anything like that...."

He replied, "no" I could tell he wasn't too sure. He kept trying to tell me "they say it only last 10 days." LIKE TF??? LOL CLEARLY IT DOESNT IF YOU'RE STILL SICK AFTER 10 DAYS...? She is 80 years old but she isn't your typical 80 year old woman. She gets around really good. She is healthy besides catching covid. No medical conditions whatsoever. She lives literally across the yard from us so she usually just walks over to my house almost every day until she caught covid. But we came and visited her the day before she tested positive. She was coughing all over my son. She wouldn't cough into her hand or elbow. She also kissed my son on the head. I'm so thankful he didn't catch it or anyone else. I got sick but it felt like a cold to me. I didnt get tested. I didnt want to and I'm a stay at home mom so I didnt have to. I did lose my taste and smell. That was literally it aside from being congested and having a sore throat.
