Morning sickness tips and help?
Hey everyone. So long story.
I haven’t been able to see a doctor officially yet. I’m 13 weeks and 1 Day. I have an apt for this Wednesday but I need help to get through this weekend.
Last weekend I was really really sick while at work and I ended up going into the ER. I had low nutrients because I puked for 3 days straight and couldn’t keep anything down. I didn’t think it was morning sickness because it hasn’t been bad. I’ve worked tons of hours and busted my booty and have been doing great. I even have went days at a time with out getting sick, but those days only happen when I’m home and off work. Well I ended up not working most of this week from being ill because we all thought it was a stomach bug so I got sent home Saturday, worked my shift Sunday, went to ER Sunday evening (that was day day 3 of not keeping anything down). I then called in on Monday from being sick and late ER trip, etc.
Well I was off Monday, Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday this week and didn’t get sick once on any of those days. Friday I worked, but I only had a short shift and made it without getting sick.
Today, I have a longer shift and I have been so sick. I have puked 5 times total today and I don’t understand what it is that makes me so sick on my work days.
I work in an AFC specialized group home for individuals who have mental disabilities and need round the clock care. My mom, boyfriend, and coworkers all believe I get so sick because I’m more active at work and than I am at home.
Is that a thing? Does more exercise or movement cause more aggressive morning sickness?
My other thought is could it be sleep deprivation? Like could not getting enough sleep at night enhance my morning sickness?
What else could it be? I can not handle working these long days when I can’t even keep food down. But I can’t quit my job or call in all the time either because of morning sickness. I’m at a loss.
I don’t know if these are dumb questions but I’m trying to figure what can I do to help my morning sickness on my work days. I work any where from 8-16 hours a days and I really need some tips.
