What would you do?

There’s a chance that I’m going to be induced to have my baby next week. My friend asked me what do I want to do on my last day of life before giving birth to our first child. So far the only thing I’ve thought of—other than making sure the house is ready—is to go get my favorite ice cream! Lol but I would like to get more out of my day than just that.
What would you do on your last day as a pregnant woman?

I would make sure you get to sleep in (as well as you can). Go get lunch, get ice cream for dessert, maybe do a little shopping for yourself or get a pedicure or both. Take a nice shower or bath and just use the day to completely pamper yourself. Once baby gets here, there won't be as much time for yourself, so soak it in. I am not saying that in a negative way, it is just what happens with all the blessings that a baby brings.

Treat yo self! With my first I got a pedicure knowing I wouldn’t be able to for a while, the actual night before I took a long relaxing bath and shaved my legs (again knowing it would be a while before I was up to it). Give in to any “safe” cravings you have, get those chips, eat that candy lol. Oh and change the sheets on your bed before you leave for induction, it was so nice to come home to after being in the hospital.

Have a nice meal that is not cold and not eaten at a high speed. Watch a movie without falling asleep halfway through. Sit outside in the sun.
