Your care team won't care, but it will probably be more comfortable for your recovery if you clean up down there.
I got waxed at around 37/38 weeks with my first but resorted to shaving for my second (due to spa closures caused by stupid COVID-19). I missed a few (not many) hair strands when shaving, had an episiotomy and the stitches caught on a couple hairs and were pinching me for a few days - not fun. 😑
It is also easy to clean up the postpartum bleed without hair to interfere. 🤷🏽‍♀️
Oh, and pain wise - I heard it would be more painful during pregnancy due to increased blood flow down there, but I was fine.

I’m honestly going to be waxing the rest of this pregnancy because at 14weeks currently I can’t see and if I get as big as my last pregnancy I also won’t be able to feel where I’m shaving. 
Love my husband to death but I don’t let him near me with a razor 😂

I think it’s funny that you put “it’s appreciated” as one of the options. You know it’s actually natural right? Your medical team isn’t going to care about a natural part of human existence. I mean, there’s a good chance you’re going to poop in their face, do you really think they have an opinion about your pubic hair?

I’ve waxed throughout my pregnancy and will get my last one next week at 38 weeks. I would rather be clean and fresh down there it’s just more comfortable for me. But I doesn’t bother you then who cares! I promise you your doctors and nurses do not care one bit.

I did a Brazilian my whole pregnancy to 32 weeks.. and then I went into labor before my next appt lol. It was great and helped me feel sanitary and clean after birth

I don't know first hand but have heard it can be worse than usual because our skin is more sensitive when pregnant. Can you just trim instead so you feel cleaner but aren't risking an unnecessary uncomfortable experience?
