I will buy avocados for basically any price if they look good, but I am going to have a very hard time leaving SoCal where they are 25 for $5 and going back to Boston where they are $2 each.

We pay $6 per lb if it’s at Whole Foods, and it’s local + organic 
If we buy it off of a farm, we pay like $2 per lb, but we have to buy in bulk.

Depends. Small one about 86¢ is the average, a bigger one about 98¢, and organic larger ones up to $2. That’s the average here and what I expect to pay. I’d never pay over two dollars for a large avocado, just not worth it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I usually buy the 4-6 count medium Hass avocado bags from Wally. They're on for $2.47 where I live. Just a single Hass avocado is on for $0.68 currently. I mean the price really doesn't bother me much. I get 2 bags every time so 8-12 avocados a week (my 2.5 yr old loves them!) Cheaper than buying 8-12 singles all the time.
