Cardio?

Question

Its my first time doing IVF can I do cardio or any weight excercise? I have a incline treadmill and a home gym.

I walked on the treadmill almost every day. Put it on a steep incline to get your heart rate up. I also went on some walks through a really hilly park near me. I was told no running or elliptical. Biking also ok but stay seated. Essentially they were saying low impact, mild-moderate exercise. This is to prevent ovarian torsion.

I was always a very active person who trained 5 times a week. My clinic asked me not to train at all except for light to moderate walking during my treatment cycle. And after my positive beta they still asked that I remain only moderately active until my 6 week scan (which was only an extra 2 weeks). 
The gym is my head space and I love it but given how much money and heartbreak we had invested in to IVF I did as they asked. I’m now 30 weeks pregnant and still weight training 3-4 times a week ❤️

I was told light cardio is fine while stimming for your retrieval, but bed rest for 48 hours after your transfer.

During stims I walked and did the stair climber. However after transfer the doctor took me out of the gym. He said I need to rest. Not sure for how long.

Ask your physician. I was allowed to strength train all through stims but I did have to modify just a bit weight wise (just did more reps on what I dropped weight on but I still lifted what most would consider heavy). I walked on a treadmill and went on easy-moderate hikes as well. I will say I took from trigger day to 2 days post retreival off (5 days) from lifting and hiking but still walked the dogs. Just listen to your body if you are given the go ahead.
