Would you have another shower/sprinkle?

I'm due with our 2nd girl in January, and didn't plan on having a party because I haven't thrown anything out. 
I have two friends also with June babies that are pregnant again, ones due in November and having a shower next month, and the other is due in February and having a sprinkle in december. Both having their 2nd boys. 
My MIL threw my shower last time but hasn't mentioned anything for this baby, and I don't want to ask. And I also don't really feel like planning anything 😅
I just think that the people who came or sent gifts for June baby wouldn't want to because it wasn't that long ago? Would love everyone's thoughts!

I would probably only have a shower if it were the opposite gender. I would have a sprinkle if it were the same for essentials. Diapers, wipes, basics like onesies and socks that tend to get ruined. With June baby we got all the big items in neutral colors, bassinet, play pen, car seats, tummy time mats, swing etc. Just in case we have another one soon!

Definitely if it were the opposite gender! My sister has already said she’ll throw me one if we have a girl :) 
If we had another of the same gender, I might want to do a diaper party kind of thing. There’s really not much we would need. Of course I’d buy new pacifiers and bottle nipples, maybe a new car seat because my son’s smells funky 😂 but not enough to warrant another shower.

I have a June baby and just had #2 Aug 4th. I would, because even if you don't need anything, stock up on diapers and wipes. Make it really casual and carefree. Have people bring those items to be entered into a raffle or something.

My sister threw me a sprinkle for my second, but it was a different gender. I’m pregnant with our third and they’re only going to be 15 months apart. No one has mentioned throwing anything for me this time around and truthfully, I’m more than okay with that. With COVID and the fact that it’s our third, I feel like it’s not necessary at all. I have had lots of people ask what they can get for baby (despite telling them nothing) so I put together a very small registry and only shared with my friends and family who have asked.

I never ever wanted a baby shower not even for Amelia so I refused one lol my friend had her second baby and had a baby sprinkle. It got cancelled due to her going into labor early, but I still sent a gift. I didn’t have the shower and people who still wanted to get us gifts did.

I had a sprinkle for my 2nd girl, however I didn’t have a traditional shower experience with my 1st as she came at 26 weeks. We didn’t have anything for our June baby who was a boy. I probably wouldn’t have had a sprinkle with my 2nd but it was a surprise that my husband planned. Since my 1st came so early, he wanted me to be celebrated when I was pregnant. I’m not sure why we didn’t think to do anything with our June baby...probably because he came 9 weeks early and we were trying to move 🤷🏻‍♀️. All of our family members gave us boy clothes as a gift when he was born and we have tons of hand me downs from nephews so we really didn’t need much for a 3rd baby. I think we bought crib sheets, bottles and a new stroller. Diapers & wipes once he came home from the NICU. I honestly haven’t really been invited to more than 2 sprinkle showers. Most people near me seem to keep it to family only or don’t bother with them. My family seems to do more gender reveal parties vs. sprinkle showers.

I'm due in 12 days but we aren't doing anything. But we would probably have a small sprinkle if covid wasn't a thing lol. I live far away from eveyone so they would all have to fly or drive 8 hours to get here.
