Successfully breastfeeding with lip tie

Have any of you had a baby have no major issues with breast feeding despite having a lip tie?

Did it go unnoticed until later?

Did toddler have problems feeding solids or talking later on?

My son is 14 months and he has always been so bad at eating and he hasn't said any word yet so this made me check for a lip tie and I think he might have one. I never had any major problems breast feeding him other than the usual and my supply was always good. His weight gain was also good.
