Hiw much to feed

How much does your 5 week old eat? He w had been eating 2-2.5 oz every 2-3 hrs but at his 1 month check up the pediatrician said he should be eating 4 oz at a time which seems like a lot to me. I’ve upped him to 3 oz at a time but then my LC said I was over feeding him because his hunger cues and soothing cues are the same and he gained a pound in 10 days but I think that’s cause the first 1.5-2 weeks I was trying to nurse only and then I switched to pumping only and I think he just wasn’t getting enough nursing as he never seemed satisfied.
