Would this be annoying?

For a few days now, my bf seems really stressed and down. he’s not rlly texting like he normally does or as enthusiastic . I know he’s probably smoking weed bc of his smelling errors and stuff. I know that some people find asking if everything is okay annoying and I really don’t want to be annoying. I want to ask if he’s okay. Ik he’s gonna be like yes and think he’s acting normal and that he’s just tired but i’m just wondering if there’s anything else. Ik tired is the answer but I still wanna ask and make sure. would u think it’s annoying?
