What worked for you ? Inducing Labor

For you moms who already gave birth, or even if you haven’t but have other kids.. what worked for you to induce labor & for baby to come? I’m 38 weeks & not even dilated. Ik baby will come when baby is ready, but I’d still like to try some things as time passes.

Today I started using my breast pump to help bring on contractions. I pump for 8 minutes and then get consistent contractions for about an hour before they fizzle out. I read a lot of research about how nipple stimulation will help your cervix dilate and thin out. In the trials I read, women who did nipple stimulation a total of 1 hour a day, went into labor within 72 hours after starting the stimulation. I’m dilated to 1cm and very soft cervix so I’m hoping I have this baby before the weekend is up🤞🏻

Walking, bouncing on a yoga ball, sex, squats, etc. I’m having a scheduled section at 39wks this time and my last never dilated and water broke on it’s own at 40 plus 4 with still almost no dilation. I feel like those things listed above can help baby into position a bit more, and soften your cervix (the sperm) but I don’t know if anything truly helps things along, and the body and baby do what they want
