DH and I love the name, but have differing opinions on how it should be pronounced. After asking a few different people for their opinions I feel like there is a really wide variety on how it is pronounced. I know the first option is the technically correct way; just curious how you personally pronounce so we know what to expect. TIA!!

That spelling is intended to be pronounced “mad-uh-lenn”. If you want the pronunciation “mad-uh-line” I’d spell it Madeline, and if you want the pronunciation “mad-uh-lin” then I’d spell it Madelyn.
