Are your strings still where they should be? 
I’d make a dr appointment either way. But, if you want feel your strings you might opt for an emergency room or walk in clinic ASAP

You might have an infection. 
You should feel what feels like fishing line, two strings coming out of your cervix. 
I usually do this in the shower, it’s just easier! If you’ve never checked before you’ll be feeling for your cervix, during your period it is a little firmer like the tip of your nose, you should find your strings in the center of it. If you don’t feel strings call and let them know that too!
