MY LITTLE NICU MIRACLE IS OKAY!!! ❤️🥰😭💃🏼🎉👶🏼

We’ve been at the hospital waiting since 8 am. They started hooking up all of the little electrodes and stuff to do his EEG. Then off to an MRI. His pediatric neurologist is one of the best in the state and we were so thankful to be able to have her. So she came in and told us that his EEG results and his complete exam WERE TOTALLY NORMAL! HE’S GOING TO BE FINE! They are doing his MRI right now, but she said if there was anything abnormal on it, she would be completely shocked. She said in her experience, it’s okay for us to have a sigh of relief and to breathe easy. THANK YOU GOD! I cannot even explain the way it feels right now. My little baby was born without a heartbeat and was without one for 15 minutes (possibly more because they don’t know how long his heart wasn’t beating before they took him out). He had no oxygen to his brain for 15 minutes! And he’s okay!!! Holy. Crap. I am so thankful that God had his hand on us and so thankful for the doctors and science that worked so hard to save his life and spare him from brain damage. I am still in awe of the whole thing. We still haven’t been able to hold him yet, but that’s coming! I will post when we get to hold him. Maybe a day or two more. 🎉💃🏼❤️
