August baby boy

1st membrane sweep was done at 38 weeks + 6days. I was 1cm, baby was high. Had mild braxton hicks off and on afterwards. Lost a lot of mucus and bloody show the following 3 days.

Went back to the dr for the 2nd sweep at 39 weeks +6days. Was 3cm, baby was high still. Had more mucus and bloody show. More braxton hicks. The next night (40 weeks) started throwing up around 4pm just randomly. By 11 i was still feeling sick and threw up a few more times. At midnight my husband and i were laying in bed about to sleep and we heard a loud POP come from my belly. He thought my back had popped. I stood up to go use the bathroom and water trickled down. It clicked in my head, the pop was my water breaking! I never knew you could sometimes hear it. I was having very light contractions, we got ready and were at the hospital by 1240. By the time we were checked in and in a room, the nurse checked me at 130am and i was still 3cm. Contractions were getting stronger and closer- finally timable, about every 4 minutes. Got checked at 4am and was 3 cm but the Contractions were PAINFUL so i got the epidural. By 5am i was 5cm, 545am i was 9cm. It was happening so fast, my husband called his mom and told her to hurry and get there. (I was allowed two people and she was our 2nd, but she was working night shift and had planned to come at 10am after her shift). I started shivering the room felt so cold, the nurse said that was good that i was getting close to pushing. I tried to relax and not push waiting on my mother in law who showed up at 615 (yay!) then I pushed thru 3 Contractions, 3 pushes per contraction. And my baby was born at 627 am! 

9lbs 11 oz & 22 ½ inches long.
