I wouldn’t worry about it. It’s unrealistic to think that your partner won’t ever find other people attractive, and you can’t help who you’re attracted to. As long as he didn’t act on his attraction or desire then there isn’t a problem.

Yes. They don't always control when it happens. Do they happen when they are aroused? Sure. They can also happen almost at random for a variety of reasons. If he didn't do anything or act on any random urges, its not a big deal.
