Baby hates being in the infant car seat! Help!

LO is 6 months old and absolutely hates going in the infant car seat - it's a very modern isofix model and it does not smell.

LO is otherwise an easy happy baby but as soon as baby is placed in the car seat there is screaming and tears. Being held or sitting in the lap in the car is no problem at all (I mean when the engine isn't running).

Do any of you have experienced the same and have any tricks?

It feels like I'm torturing my baby and it's heartbreaking but we have to get around by car due to covid-19...
