Intermittent bleeding??

Can anyone shed a bit of light on what could be happening please?

My period was 19th to the 24th August.

So I have a cervical ectropion - confirmed by speculum due to fresh red bleeding after sex. I also had a ultrasound to check everything was OK after a miscarriage in May.

This cycle I've been tracking ovulation and got my peak results on Friday. We DTD wed/thurs/Friday with the same bleeding afterwards from the cervical ectropion.

Saturday however I went to the loo on the PM and had fresh red blood on wiping, wiped twice and it went. Nothing else happened until later that evening when I went to the loo again. Same situation, wiped twice and fresh red and nothing after.

Sunday had 2 occasions of the same thing happening. But each time after wiping it seems to stop.

Then same thing happened this morning. It's always fresh red, wiped a few times and gone. This morning it turned pink when wiping but nothing since.

I don't really understand what's happening, it doesn't seem continuous to be logged as a period because I know you can get a rise on ovulation tests before your period but my period only ended 24th Aug. So if its my period I'd assume I didn't ovulate??
