opk have to be darker than test line to be positive?" /> 
I'm confused. Some months my opk is darker than control line and some months it's the same colour. I just assumed that maybe more lh was present in my urine some month but some people are saying if it's not darker than control it's not positive.

When you have the test line that is DARKER you hit your peak.... your positive is just a line that is just as dark, then you have 12-36 hours to ovulate from there. But when you hit your peak, you are at the end of fertile period and your egg either has been released or will be in the next 10-12 hrs completing your fertile cycle
