Everyone is different, but we decided to "see what happened" and those happenings tended to be on the weekends. However, we really weren't doing it that often (even on weekends), and we didn't get pregnant for way too long.
If, though, you plan on doing it every weekend, your fertile week/ovulation will likely fall on a weekend at some point.
I totally get your starting point. We were hoping it would just happen with our regular sex life, minus the contraceptives, but that never happened for us, but again, I don't think we were doing it enough.
If you're not in a rush, you can try that for a few cycles. If you discover that nothing is happening, you might want to either have more sex or plan to do it around ovulation.
Hope it happens "casually" for you. That's really such a nice way for it to happen!

We only had sex on weekends because my husband is a truck driver & only home on weekends. It was tricky to get pregnant since I ovulated in the middle of the week sometimes or just before he got home. So we completely missed it. And just FYI, most sperm does NOT live up to 5 days. Its more like 1-2 days.
