She invited someone else to come live with us UPDATE

I have a roommate who is, not all there. To help you imagine, she has no idea how to take care of herself and leaves the house an actual mess, the other roommate I’ve never met and she seems clean, so I like her.

The Mess constantly asks for my help with simply stuff like changing a light. She also constantly has her boyfriend over, to the point he lives there.

She just sent a text to me and the other girl saying a girl from church needed a place to live so she told her she could live with us. We have a spare room and the apartment owners said it’s okay, they just need our permission.

I’m only here for three months, so I know I have no reason to say no, however, I have no idea who this girl is, she made no effort to have us meet her, and I just feel stressed. She just said “hey so and so is a friend from church and needs a place to live, landlord says I need your permission so just email them yes”.

I havnt said anything to her yet, I just wanna think on it and wait for the other roommate to respond. We have a spare room but as room for food in the fridge, and the kitchen, no room. Mess has taken over everything. Plus, why does she need a new place? Was she kicked out? We know nothing about her.

Turns out Mess has only met the potential TWICE and actually knows nothing about her 🤦🏼‍♀️
