Mom won’t see baby because doesn’t want vaccine

I just saw my ob who insisted that anyone who will have regular contact with my baby should get the flu shot and tdap. It’s been such a hard conversation to have with my mom. She’s super natural and eats vegan. I don’t want to make her do anything she does not want to do but it’s a tough choice on my part wether I should let the baby come into contact with her. When I asked her if she could get the shot she said “I guess I won’t be seeing the baby”. Then she sent me conservative articles on why I shouldn’t worry about the baby getting Covid. The article explained why children are more likely to get struck by lightning than Covid. I told her that my ob insisted family with close contact at least get the flu shot and we might have to wait until the baby is old enough to get vaccinated if she chooses not to. She said that “Up to you - I will not get a flu shot, your ob is clearly doesn’t support natural remedies - I wonder how healthy he will be when he is my age”

My mom is a tough cookie! Again, I’m not going to make her do anything she doesn’t want to do but I feel so bad for even asking! The way she responds feels terrible. I wish it was an easy conversation with loved ones. Then I start to wonder if I’m even doing the right thing by not being natural. I just had my flu shot, tdap and glucose drink while pregnant 🙁 I don’t know what the right thing to do is here.
