Screaming baby boy??

Question

I’m not a first time mom but i am a first time boy mom. My boy is 4 days old now and for every diaper change he screams. He starts the moment that you touch the strap to the diaper. He was also doing this before being circumcised so it’s not that as the issue (I’m sure it’s sore though, no judging.) but he will scream and kicj up until you finish putting the diaper on then he’s fine. What can I do to help with this?

I’m with the side of reason that says it’s not ok to cut your newborn’s genitals without their consent. 🥀

My guy liked to be warm. A blanket and wipe warmer helped a lot. Otherwise he’d scream.

My baby hated diaper changes - he did a little better if I covered his upper body with a blanket while we changed him and eventually he grew out of it but the first probably month or so was rough!!

My baby did this too, for the first couple weeks and then stopped. I would just give it time

Are the wipes super cold or is he cold in general?

Can you try and district him with something? I know he's young but what about singing or humming? My daughter has always had to be distracted during diaper changes. For some reason she has always hated them so I try and sing or distract in other ways
