My 8 year old got it when he was 4 for preschool. Then he kept getting sick with the flu and strep. For my daughter this past December it became mandatory at her preschool I just pull her out so she didn't finish preschool. I did not give her the flu shot. The last time I got the flu shot was in 2006 and I got very ill with the flu shortly after. I dont plan on giving my baby the flu shot. Hes getting all his other vaccines but the flu shot.

Absolutely. It just sucks it’s 2 doses, so it really won’t be effective until mid January.

Nope, it’s not standard practice in the uk unless the child is immuno compromised. I know of absolutely no kids that have had the flu!
