It looks very dry. I would load it with baby oil and let it sit. You can gently comb it if you’d like it will get the little flakes of skin out.

Definitely check with your pediatrician. If it is cradle cap, rubbing some coconut oil on it and letting it soak in and then using a soft brush to gently loosen it up worked great for us.

My son has that! We’ve got it under control now.  My son had cradle cap on his head and eyebrows when he was a couple months old then when it started getting better he got eczema on his scalp next. It was almost like the cradle cap turned into the eczema but the rash changed and got itchy for him. We use this Medela Stelotopia shampoo and it’s helped a lot. I had to apply hydrocortisone to his head every night for a week to get it looking better (pediatrician said it was ok), plus I rubbed olive oil on his scalp every morning and brushed his hair daily as well. Now just the shampoo keeps it under control and oil occasionally when it’s dry.
